Very ice park. Location is a bit remote but easily accessed. Very peaceful location and atmosphere. Closest park I found to Charleston. I had a meeting in Charleston, and it is about 20 minute drive. Park was not completely operational on our visit, but it was early in the spring. It is located at a church camp and would be really nice in the summer months. Would stay again if in the area.

It is an old KOA that needs a lot of work. Had to look around for a site that had working water connection. Lots of low hanging tree branches. The sign on the office building states that it is under renovation, but I saw no work being done. You have to register at the nearby Motel. Right next to a TA truck stop and I-40 so it is very noisy. Worked for an in and out overnight but that is about all.

Extremely nice park. It is still under construction, but the finished work is superb. Very nice grass areas at each space. Level. graveled pull through space. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have big plans for the park, and will be resort quality when it is completed. Great destination park as well as overnight. Close to many state parks and the Blue Ridge Parkway. If ever back in the area we will definitely stay again.
